My new craft knife! not quite sure about it yet, it may take a bit of getting used to, its not so good on the the curved corners. I think I might need to invest in the Fiskers swivel knife but it dose take the pressure of the index finger.

Last Sunday Holly and I had the most splendid time setting up a home made theatre and making our very first little shadow puppet animation to promote our forthcoming exhibition "Tales from a pea green boat" http://apeagreenboat.tumblr.com/

We spent the morning collecting our thoughts and cutting the characters for each verse of the poem. After a few practice runs, where we tried our very best not to put the text up back to front and upside down, we set up camera and Tom came in to read the poem in his very best narrators voice!

After several failed attempts we got there in the end! Just in time to eat a sunday roast and drop Holly off at the coach station.

boat" all artwork is based on Edward Lears poetry.

This peace is based on the verse:

There was a young lady in red,

who carefully covered her head

with a bonnet of leather, and three lines of feathers,

Besides some long ribands of red.

Tom and I put up the show last Sunday. The exhibition is located in the most come beautiful building in the gorgeous countryside in Gloucestershire. Before I take down the show on the 11th there will be an affordable artfair on the 11th where you can see the exhibition, buy some some art and discover new artists.

Holly Clifton Brown and I took on the terrifying challenge to do some live improvisational drawing . A word was thrown from the audience a group of fantastic acter and ourself responded to the word. It was a great exercise and im sure Holly and I will be back for more. I will keep you posted on the next event.

I have spent the last two weeks at my brothers lovely country house cat sitting his two tortoiseshell cats Mitten and Aggie. Im technically homeless at the moment living the life of a freelance cat sitting snail. Next week I will be back in Hackney looking after my friends cat Schinxy.. "Rare Breeds" Interactive Exhibition

Interactive Exhibition – Shop, Christmas Steps.

April 1^st – April 30^th.
Opening on April 1^st, this exhibition runs for a month
at the vintage shop and artspace and is themed on
nature. The exhibition will include an exhibition of
Sarah’s work as well as toys, badges and zines
available for sale. The opening night will feature
interactive activities from art collective ‘Hot Soup’,
such as the use of the over head projector and
a table and workshops where people can make
their own mini comics.

The Kakapo meaning owl parrot. The Kakapo is a flightless nocturnal bird.

They are green in color and Live in Newzealand. There are only 125 left !.

I discovered this brilliant bird last year and cant stop drawing them.
